Technology is changing Montana’s economy and creating new opportunities for good-paying jobs across the state. The first biannual Montana High tech Jobs Summit hosted by US Senator Steve Daines served as a unique opportunity to bring together leaders in the hub of Montana’s growing technology sector and discuss ways to create more good-paying Montana tech jobs.

The opening panel discussion, “Big Sky Innovation: How Technology Removes Geography as a Constraint,” allowed six technology leaders in the state to field questions from Greg Gianforte, founder of RightNow Technologies.

“We are certainly Montana’s biggest fan,” said Andrew Hull. “With 75% of our workforce a product of the Montana University system and employees who are natives from nine cities across Montana, Elixiter is competing globally while sourcing and building our talent locally. I could not be more excited to create jobs that pay twice the state average and provide careers for our young and talented graduates.”

The panel can be viewed here or watch the entire day-long event here.
